INKA a playful, unique accessory design handmade by the young Danish classical singer Katinka Fogh Vindelev aka INKA.

The first INKA was impulsively designed in March 2009 just before a night out. Receiving dozens of compliments on her accessory Katinka decided to follow a long lost dream and in May 2009 her company INKA was founded.

In 2006 Katinka had two options - she would either strive to become a musician or a designer. At that time she chose music. She has for several years been playing with established bands and artists such as Julie Maria, Oh Land and Efterklang. But today she is studying classical singing at the royal academy of music in Århus. So it looks like she succeeds in doing both.

Katinka is inspired by a fabric's soft lightness, its ability to be shaped, folded, tied and modeled.

She is constantely developing her designs and after one and a half year she has already launched 2 collections.
